Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how NexalSEO (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you visit nexalseo.com (the “Site”) or contact us. It does not cover the separate WordPress SEO plugin — see “The NexalSEO plugin” below for how that’s handled.
Information we collect
We keep the data we collect on this Site to the minimum needed to run it and answer your messages:
- Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, so we can reply to you.
- WhatsApp. If you use the WhatsApp button, your conversation is handled inside WhatsApp under Meta’s own privacy terms — see “Third-party services” below.
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs technical details of each visit (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page) for security and performance purposes. We don’t combine this with any other identifying information.
We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on this Site, and we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
How we use information
- To respond to messages sent through the contact form or WhatsApp.
- To keep the Site secure and working correctly (server logs).
- To let you know about NexalSEO Pro if you specifically asked to join the waitlist.
Cookies
This Site currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies. For the full details of what is (and isn’t) set, see our Cookie Notice.
Third-party services
A few parts of the Site rely on services run by other companies:
- Google Fonts — the Site loads the “Plus Jakarta Sans” typeface from Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address in order to serve the font file. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — clicking the WhatsApp button opens a chat on WhatsApp’s own platform, governed by WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider — processes server logs described above on our behalf.
Data retention
Contact form and WhatsApp messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted. Server logs are rotated automatically by our hosting provider on a routine schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it’s used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we’ll respond as required by applicable law (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California).
Children’s privacy
This Site is intended for a business/professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
The NexalSEO plugin
The information above covers this website only. The NexalSEO WordPress plugin, once installed on your own site, processes data locally by default and makes no external requests unless you explicitly opt in and connect a service (such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, or an AI provider) using your own credentials. Full details of what each optional integration sends and to whom are documented in the plugin’s readme, available from its WordPress.org listing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
