WordPress SEO Plugin Features

Every module inside the NexalSEO WordPress plugin

NexalSEO is one plugin with modules for on-page SEO, semantic analysis, structured data, sitemaps, redirects, WooCommerce, Local SEO and more. Each one replaces a task you’d otherwise do by hand or pay a developer for. Free vs Pro breakdown is on the pricing page — everything below is available in some form on the free plan.

Meta titles, descriptions & snippet preview

Up to 3 focus keywords per page, colour-coded by optimisation level so you can see at a glance which one needs work. A full Google-style snippet preview (search box, tabs, desktop and mobile layouts) shows exactly how the page will look in results, with writing guidance under each field. Works on posts, pages, products, categories and tags.

AI suggestions (opt-in)

Connect your own Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, OpenAI or Anthropic key to get AI-powered topical phrases and real “questions to answer” for your focus keyword. Off by default, uses your own credits, and only runs when you click “Re-analyze with AI” — never automatically.

Schema & structured data

21 schema types to choose from, output as one connected @graph — Organization, WebSite, WebPage, Article, Person, ImageObject, Breadcrumb — instead of separate disconnected snippets. See the full schema markup breakdown.

Intelligent XML sitemaps

A sitemap index plus per-post-type and per-taxonomy sitemaps, regenerated automatically. Pages you’ve marked “No index” are excluded automatically, thin content can optionally be filtered out too, and a health panel on the settings page shows exactly what’s included and why.

Redirect manager

301/302 redirects with no artificial limit on how many you can create, plus bulk redirect creation when you change a URL slug or restructure a section of the site.

404 monitor

Logs the URLs where visitors and search engines hit a “not found” error, with a one-click “create redirect” action right from the log so broken links get fixed instead of piling up.

Internal link suggestions

As you write, NexalSEO surfaces existing pages that share topical context with the paragraph you’re editing, and flags any published post that has zero internal links pointing to it (an “orphan” page) so it doesn’t get stranded outside your site’s link structure.

Readability analysis

Sentence-length, passive-voice, and paragraph-length checks in plain language, plus a transition-word count, so content stays easy to scan on any device.
